Comments from Philadelphia Fed President Charles Plosser on monetary policy:

  • Concerned Fed statement suggests the will to hit unemployment goal as quickly as possible
  • Suggests Fed prepare quarterly, comprehensive policy reports for Congess

Another report Congress won’t read is EXACTLY what the Fed needs to do. And I’m not sure what his problem is with promoting employment.

In any case, there’s nothing here for the market to digest.
