Bridgewater hedge fund titan Ray Dalio said this week the next 'big' Fed move will be more QE.

(Adam had the initial post here: Trusted sources: Ray Dalio and Art Cashin)

To clarify what Dalio has said (clarity is important .... as these things do the rounds what was actually said can get distorted and refracted through our own biases ...). Bolding mine.

"We are not saying that we don't believe that there will be a tightening before there is an easing

We are saying that we believe that there will be a big easing before a big tightening

We don't consider a 25-50 basis point tightening to be a big tightening. Rather, it would be tied with the smallest tightening ever"

So .. has Dalio been watching the Reserve Bank of New Zealand? And if so, I wonder if he thinks there is more easing to come in New Zealand?

These are the most recent RBNZ policy moves ... a tightening (after 2 years of unchanged) and then a partial unwind via two easing:

More easing to come?
