If elected, Romney has said he will dump Bernanke when his term ends in January 2014 but a top Romney economic aid said he gives Bernanke “top marks” and says he should get “every consideration” to stay on.
I doubt it will even matter, Bernanke has said he doesn’t want to stay on for a long time like Greenspan and his two terms have been anything but a walk in the park.
