Coming up at 1330GMT today we've got:

  • Mark Carney, Governor, Bank of England
  • Mario Draghi, President, European Central Bank
  • Haruhiko Kuroda, Governor, Bank of Japan
  • Stephen Poloz, Governor, Bank of Canada

all on a panel at the ECB Forum on Central Banking taking place this week in Sintra, Portugal.

But ... ahead of that .... due at 0730GMT (getting in early!) is John Williams, head of the Federal Reserve branch in san Francisco, continuing his 'Thunder Down Under' world tour of Australia! Williams speaking in Canberra.

His prepared text is a repeat of his June 27 speech in Sydney (the internet in Australia is so slow I'm betting he is thinking no one will notice).

BUT ... there is a Q&A to follow so we might get something a little different.

Pic of Canberra!
