Just a 4% chance of a move today but December is in the balance
Don't look for the Fed to completely commit to a hike in December or remove the possibility altogether but the market will be scouring the statement for clues on what will happen in December.
Watch this line in particular. It was new last month and if it's removed or left in it will be strongest sign of what's to come.
"Recent global economic and financial developments may restrain economic activity somewhat and are likely to put further downward pressure on inflation in the near term."
