If this is the new narrative, then everyone can be a central banker.
It's a bit lazy from Simkus but it speaks to how the ECB has gotten it wrong every step of the way since last year. And yet with Spanish inflation hitting a record above 10%, it is best to be reminded that we still haven't gotten a single rate hike yet by the ECB - even if they have already committed to ones in July and September.
