The original release was +162K compared to 140K expected but ADP has put out a press release showing the new format for the release and it shows +88.2K.
This press release shows our new monthly format using September data that has been revised using our new methodology.

It sure looks like a revision. It may have been floating around for awhile but MNI just picked up on it and I don’t think anyone else has.
