Ukraine PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk has urged the EU to block the Russian south stream gas project as he announces that Ukraine’s losses over losing Crimea amount to 1tn Hryvnia. He says that they have filed a law suit against Russia for the loss of the Crimea.

The pipeline is planned to run south out of Russia and across the Black sea and into Bulgaria.

Not if Ukraine gets its way

Yatsenyuk also says that Ukrainian reserves are standing at $18bn and he wants Turkey to allow LNG shipments out of Bosphorus.
