The FT is reporting that Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney has been informally approached to lead the Bank of England when Mervyn King’s term ends in June 2013.

The FT cites “three people involved in the process” from the BoE as sources but the Bank of Canada has quickly come out to say the report is not accurate.

Juicy stuff.
