BOJ Gov Kuroda concedes the Bank cannot print money unlimitedly forever

Bank of Japan Governor Kuroda, speaking in parliament  

  • if inflation nears 2%, BOJ will need to adjust monetary policy to stabilise prices
  • Japan not facing immediate threat to price stability but that doesn't mean BOJ can print money unlimitedly forever
That first point … wow, Japan is way below 2% infalion so its a moot point right now. Still, Kuroda in parliament so he's had to dumb down his message.
