BOJ Gov Kuroda says if consumer prices lost momentum would consider additional easing
Bank of Japan Governor Kuroda is speaking from parliament again today.
Said the same thing yesterday:
- if consumer prices lost momentum, we would consider additional easing without hesitation
- will assess costs and benefits of any new policy measures
- global economic conditions are different to the 2008 crisis
- not considering additional easing now
- need to continue easing as the inflation goal is far off
