Here is a super quick preview of the ECB and BoE this week

  • The European Central Bank and the Bank of England both meet on Thursday 10 September 2018

I'll pop up some previews in the days ahead leading up to the meeting as they come in.

This earlier:

Moody's on the BoE:

  • we aren't expecting any further moves in September
  • Our view is that Monetary Policy Committee will want to wait until at least May before moving again

And on the ECB:

  • ECB's meeting should also be a rather tedious affair
  • The ECB already shook its forward guidance foundations during June's meeting, so we expect the bank will stick this month to that previous guideline
