Oh yes good people, it's the market's fave central bank and head honcho ( or is the Fed/Yellen on your target list now after last night?) up to the plate at 08.30 GMT

There has been plenty of talk lately of "unofficial" target rates for EURCHF between 1.05-1.10 that's been reported here by me and others including the possible introduction of a basket-style way of keeping tabs on excessive CHF demand

Or will we be getting a further cut in interest rates ? Or indeed, not a lot except much jawboning rhetoric

Eamonn had this preview earlier

No specific target CHF cap/basket but interest rate cuts should be fairly neutral albeit probably causing knee jerk CHF selling

After the SNB's behaviour this year so far it would be foolish to second-guess/anticipate what they might come up with but they certainly have some credibility to recover as far as the market is concerned
