Deutsche Bank expect the Fed to launch a repo facility next year

A  Deutsche Bank note late last week on the Federal Reserve, seen launching a standing fixed-rate repurchase agreement (repo facility) in early 2020.

(as discussed at the June FOMC)
  • would work as a backstop against sharp spikes in interest rates in money markets
