ECB's Hansson sees more confidence on inflation developments

ECB member Ardo Hansson speaks in Tallinn

  • "We are on a course where monetary policy has recently been moderately normalised - mainly on asset purchases"
  • Communication has been moderately changed as there is more confidence on changes in inflation
As "confident" as he is, inflationary pressures in the Eurozone remains subdued. And while the ECB may get away with exiting QE this year, it's hard to see them in a position to raise rates by the middle of next year honestly.
