Highlights of the Fed's senior loan officer survey

  • Bank tightened standards on commercial real estate
  • More broadly, banks reported leaving standards basically unchanged
  • On the demand side, they said commercial and industrial loan demand weakened

The Boston Fed, in particular, has been warning on commercial real estate for more than a year so they'll see this as good news.
