Resigning post in 2018
William Dudley, who heads the powerful New York Fed and is a member of the policy-setting FOMC, will retire in mid-2018, the Fed confirmed Monday. He will also speak in a few minutes on "Lessons from the Financial Crisis". He is expected to start at 12:10 ET/1710 GMT.
We will monitor for comments on policy and the economy. The Fed is expected to raise rates by 0.25% in December.
