US-based Brandywine Global Investment Management with the call on the Federal Reserve.
- "bar is very high for the Fed to tighten rates"
- "Even if inflation trends higher, the Fed is going to be slow to respond to that in order to avoid having us going down the same path as Japan and Europe."
More here at Bloomberg, which notes that the US went close to a decade without a rate increase from 2006-2015. I reckon this is not 2006.
