RBNZ inflation data +1.7% y/y (prior +1.7%)

Author: Eamonn Sheridan | Category: Central Banks

For the March quarter of 2019

Earlier we got NZ official CPI:
The RBNZ's measure is a measure of core CPI, the sectoral factor model, and its a preferred indicator for the Bank. Its come in unchanged from the December 2018 reading.

This data point can be an NZD mover, but only only when its a bit of a surprise, coming in in in line with previous is not an event.
NZD is little changed.
