Stephen Poloz and Carolyn WIlkins to hold press conference
The Bank of Canada's Poloz and Wilkins will hold a press conference starting at 11:15 AM ET. I reported earlier that it would begin at 10:15 AM ET (I am thankful for the delay honestly).
The USDCAD has moved higher on the back of less hawkish statement from the BOC (more concerned about growth). However the pair did stall against a topside swing area at the 1.3139-44 area (see top yellow area below. Watch the 1.3110 area for support. A move below the 100 and 200 hour MAs at 1.3091-94 would be be more bearish now.
