Text of Yellen's Humphrey Hawkins testimony to be released at the bottom of the hour

Janet Yellen is in the House today for the first part of her semi-annual grilling. There aren't any hot-button issues at the moment so she may get off easy. My guess is that someone, somehow manages to ask her a question about Trump and Russia or something equally inane.

The text of her opening statement is due at 1230 GMT (8:30 am ET) and the appearance begins 90 minutes later.

She could send a strong signal on the willingness to hike in September or wait for more information. The market is expecting a shift to a wait-and-see stance until December.
