Bank of England Governor Bailey will be appearing in the parliament today, Tuesday, 16 January 2024.
At 1500 GMT (which is 10 am US Eastern time) Bailey will be testifying before Economic Affairs Committee with his views on the economic and policy outlook.
Top of the agenda will likely be the expectation for interest rates in the UK, which appear to have peaked.
