BOJ offers large cash injection after long-term interest rates hit a two-month high

The benchmark 10-year Japanese government bond (JGB) yield hit 0.105% on Thursday

• its highest since November 1 last year (tracking rising UST yields)

The BOJ target for short-term interest rates is -0.1% and 10-year JGB yields around 0% (with a band circa 0.25% around its 0% target).
