European Central Bank Governing Council member Ardo Hansson said crypto assets are 'nonsense' and predicted Bitcoin will die, on a panel discussion in Raga, Latvia.
"I think crypto currency is a complete load of nonsense and will probably die its own death," he said. "The bubble has already started to collapse and maybe we should just see how far this collapse goes, and what is left when we've reached a new kind of equilibrium."
Ouch.
Bitcoin is up 3.5% to $4029 today.
