Here is a piece from the Nikkei on risks to watch for in 2016
Its that time of year isn't it? The FT had their list (summary here) and there are plenty of others about.
Thing is, none of them picked this one, already happening (or has this list below alluded to it in point #10?)
Oh well, back to the Nikkei's 10 risk list:
- Xenophobia and anger surging across Europe and the United States
- A major terrorist attack on the U.S
- A series of Paris-style attacks across Europe
- Emerging economies slowing down or even contracting
- Changing energy dynamics
- Russia's decline will make Vladimir Putin more dangerous
- China's growth slowdown, potentially to below 5%
- Balkanization of the internet
- North Korea's Kim Jong-un may seek to rattle the cage
- Middle East risk of heightened regional conflict increases
