Ok it’s all relative and there’s a lot of doom n gloom out there right now but figures reported earlier by the KBA ( Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority ) saw new car registrations up 6.8% in July, the second highest monthly gain this year after January’s 7.2% rise

The sales have been boosted by demand for premium models and sports-utility with Porsche, Jeep, and BMW among the top selling brands and while some analysts/cynics will see this all discount-driven ( pun intended) others see it as a positive sign that the Germany auto sector is at least back on track in terms of sales volumes

Overall sales for the year are now up 3% or 1.18 mln autos

No prizes where I’m going for the (not so) tenuous music link this time. This will keep you busy for 8 minutes at least!
