This report is tough to square
The official Statistics Canada report showed 207K job losses and that makes much more sense considering large parts of the country were completely shut down in the month.
I don't think the market puts much stock in this report and it's because of data points like this.
In any case, about half the jobs were in the categories of 'leisure and hospitality' and 'education and healthcare'. Here's the full report.
