Results of the Cooper Brexit amendment vote

The government had been said to support it. It notes May's commitment to hold a vote on March 14 on whether to delay Brexit if parliament has rejected her deal

The vote was passed 502-20 with some ERG members abstaining. This basically formalizes what May had promised and there were hints all day that Conservatives would support it.

The interesting twist here is that around 80 Conservatives abstained, which is worrisome.

That's all for the votes today. Not much reaction from cable but it's starting to get some minor momentum to the upside, so that's something to watch.
