Lighthizer ask to reschedule a meeting

Ok, this one might be grasping at straws but a Politico reporter notes:

"Maybe a sign that NAFTA talks with Canada are making progress as Lighthizer asked to reschedule a meeting that was to take place with Ways and Means members this afternoon."

At this point, I continue to believe it's close to completion. Canada has put most of its cards on the table and the US hasn't walked away. Trump was optimistic about something before the end of the week yesterday.

USD/CAD ran some stops earlier but there was no follow through and it's back close to 1.3200.

Of course, there's always the risk Trump blows it all up but I think Congress has strongly indicated to Trump it wants a deal done before the midterms that includes Canada. Paul Ryan today gave a "let's wait-and-see" sorta answer to questions about Canada today, which sounds like he knows what's coming.
