New cases slide

Arizona reported 1813 new virus cases on Monday with about 14% of people testing positive. There has been a rapid improvement in the state in the past month after a runaway rise for weeks. The positive percentage of tests rose as high as 35% at one point.

There are still testing bottlenecks but social distancing efforts appear to have halted a period of exponential growth.

The next challenge is going to be getting numbers low enough to open schools.

Meanwhile the death toll on the day was -1. Yes, negative one. So we're resurrecting the dead in AZ. That's gotta be bullish.
