Regional bourses are up by about 0.25% with the exception of the Australian market which is +1.25%.
Gold is holding on to its earlier gains and still sits +1% on the day.
The USD remains broadly lower against the majors and against the Asian currencies and is showing no sign of any bounce just yet. Cable is the latest pair to trigger stops, with dealers reporting trailing stops above 1.5730. Hourly technical resistance is at 1.5750 and a break above there might trigger more stop-loss buying.
