The Nikkei and Hang Seng have had reasonable afternoon session with both now over 0.6% higher, Shanghai is +0.2%.
Gold is steady at $1374/oz and oil has rebounded modestly to $84.60/bbl
The FX market has been in the doldrums for the last few hours with the USD having lost a little on the session.
