The AUD/USD is 100 points from the low of the day on short covering and lack of commitment to the downside; currently at 0.8417 and AUD/JPY also at the top of the day’s range at 87.77.
Not sure if there is a specific strong buyer at the figure but seemed well bid on the couple of dips after it broke 05
