Expectations were for a slight drop from last month but we’ve beaten that again like yesterdays figures. Cable doing nothing.
It’s another good read and continues the trend though FX is taking no real notice.
From the report, new business was the driver with those new orders at 16 year highs.
Senior economist at Markit said;
“The UK service sector turned in another stellar
performance in August, building on the growth
momentum seen during July.
“Moreover, the sector’s recovery, which has been
evident since the start of the year, has legs.
