Here's a good idea from Bloomberg - a quick run down on the 5 independents voted into the Australian parliament
The election on Saturday has so far failed to produce a winner, and the smart money is on a minority government - one needing the support of one or more of these 5
- Rebekha Sharkie. Sharkie the politician ... talk about nominative determinism
- Bob Katter ... this guy is a nutter ... maybe we need more like him :-D
- Cathy McGowan ... says she won't do any deals to form government. Well, that's not very helpful, is it now?
- Andrew Wilkie ... former army offer - and he has integrity. Don't know what he's doing in Canberra!
- Adam Bandt ... a few years ago was the first Green to win a lower-house seat and has been pissing everyone off since then. Probably need more of him too :-D
