Australia November trade balance data, comes in at AUD 1.925bn surplus for a miss
- expected surplus 2.175bn AUD
- prior +2.013bn (revised from +2.316bn AUD )
Exports +1% m/m (prior also +1%)
Imports +2.% (prior +3%)
A fall in the size of the surplus was expected, but has come in a little lower than consensus median estimate. Exports grew 1% on the month, but not as fast as imports which came in at +2%.
AUD had a wiggle but is little net changed after this and the job ads data. eyes on US/China trade talks.
