ANZ remarks on the results along the lines of confidence weaker in Melbourne (the 2nd most populous city in Australia where a harsh lockdown remains in place) and also noting confidence is above neutral in Perth. Perth is the capital city of Western Australia where economic conditions have been subdued for a number of years as mining investment fell off the capex cliff.
