Australian Industry Group Performance of Construction Index, still well, and further, into contraction territory.
This was due for a bounce back following the election result. The return of the incumbent government has taken away the threat of further moves that would have been likely to weigh on the property sector in the short term. Not to be, a terrible result for this PMI today.
