Bob Katter, who was elected to the House of Reps as an independent has come out to say he will be supporting Turnbull
- Says he reserves the right to withdraw support in the future
- But for now, he is on board

The current state of play in the election counting is:
- Coalition 73 seats
- Labor 66
- Independents 5 (one of these just came out in support of the Coalition)
- 6 seats still too close to call and in doubt
76 seats are needed for a majority
