Headline home loan values down 1.7% m/m

Owner occupier loan value -1.7%

  • 2.8% expected, prior 5.0%

As you can see from those priors, there was some momentum at the beginning of the year, but Feb reversed this, even ahead the coronavirus impact.

Brace for what is ahead though, likely sharp drops in March and again in April. More broadly in the housing sector, there is a ban on physical auctions & open home sale inspections.
