Berlusconi says government can go ahead
- Says his party won't give the coalition backing in parliament
- Says party will nonetheless remain allied to the League
Some mixed messages here but I think the main takeaway is that we're going to get an Italian government, which diminishes some of the risks. Although it does sound like Berlusconi's Forza Italia will be ready with knife to put in someone's back.
