We're on to the Q&A session now

BOE Carney
  • If there is a no-deal Brexit shock, that would increase chance of negative growth
  • Central expectations is for higher uncertainty but some kind of Brexit agreement
  • Core of UK financial system is ready for whatever form Brexit takes

The noticeable change is that he's finally got his hands moving in the Q&A session. Not so much in terms of the comments though. Basically, he's just reiterating that the BOE has to wait and see how Brexit progresses before deciding on anything.

Cable is back up to 1.2900, pretty much erasing the BOE decision drop.
