BERLIN (MNI) – Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee member
Adam Posen said Tuesday that he believes the Eurozone debt crisis will
be solved in the end.
“I do believe the crisis will be solved, I do believe the euro will
be fine,” Posen said at an economic conference in Berlin.
Former ECB chief economist Otmar Issing said at the same conference
that it had been clear to everybody that a crisis would come one day.
Yet, “I hadn’t expected one of such dimension,” he acknowledged.
