US to sell $13 billion in a 30-year reopening at the top of the hour

The market is looking for the 30-year bonds to sell at 2.995% compared to the previous sale at 2.880%.

After falling as low as 2.63% in the panic in late August, benchmark bonds are currently at 2.990%.

There is chatter about the yield pushing above 3.00% and that could kickstart some bond selling and give USD/JPY a bit of a lift.
