The new Brazilian government seems less tolerant of Chinese currency misalignment than its predecessor, based on recent comments.
An aide to President Rouseff was quoted as saying that the weak Yuan is as big a concern for Brazil as the dollar.
Pressure from less powerful countries may have more impact on Chinese thinking than US pressure. Or it may have no impact at all. We’ll see.
