Cable had edged above the 1.5300 level after triggering stops in the 1.5290/1.5300 area. EUR/GBP has fallen to fresh session lows amid the fallout from Gordon Brown’s “bigoted” gaffe yesterday. Hope continues to build for the Tories to command a clear majority, thus avoiding the dreaded hung parliament fear which have weighed on the pound.
1.5320 is next resistance for the pound; more lies at 1.5355.
