Headlines are beginning to cross on the UK budget.

  • Osborne opened by saying the budget will deal with debts.
  • The economy is forecast to grow 0.8% in 2012 (vs +0.7% est in Nov) and 2.0% in 2013
  • Unemployment to peak at 8.7% this year

The non-sensical whippy cable move came just before the budget, so hopefully it’s out of the way now.
