Cable is seeing steady trade in early Europe after opening lower, presently down at 1.5226 having closed out Monday in North America up around 1.5285.
UK PM Brown widely expected to announce a May 6th general election later today. Recent polls suggest the opposition Tories are headed for victory, one which will likely give them a majority in parliament.
