China fires back
China has been steadfast that it will not back down in a trade war. The latest from the commerce ministry says the tariff issue is between multilateralism and unilateralism. They also said they are prepared to take immediate action if the US releases a list of products that will be hit by $100B tariffs.
As for negotiations, they said that under these conditions, the two sides cannot conduct negotiations.
