China to cut tariffs on auto parts too
- Car parts import duty lowered to 6%
Earlier news broke out that they would consider such a measure, and now it is confirmed by the Ministry of Finance. The previous duty for cars was 25%, and was in place for more than a decade.
That will be a good boost especially to European car markers like BMW and Volkswagen.
